About

This cabin was built for demonstration and to illustrate how an 8’ wide can be transformed to almost 13’ wide in the interior with the help of a few friends. There are no buttons to push to make the tip outs function.  You just need a little muscle and confidence, and in 15 minutes you will take your 8’ wide to a width that is new to the tiny home industry.

The beauty of this push-out design is that all the floors are flush, and do not interfere with furnishings as compared to a slide-out design, where the floors are different levels. With this feature it is possible to use your own furnishings instead of relying on built-ins.  So, you can have a bed or couch in the push-out without an elevation change.

A loft is provided for either storage or sleeping and is accessed with a removable ladder.  This cabin was designed to be used for overnight accommodations and is large enough to fit a king size bed with lots of room to walk around, or for other furnishings.

The bathroom is large and features a 3’ x 4’ shower, on demand propane water heater, a hand washing sink and regular toilet. The loft has a finished plywood floor and there is laminate flooring below. The kitchen is fully functional with lots of storage, a gas/electric fridge and an all in one laundry center.

This cabin is designed to be a legal 8’ wide and is not designed for frequent travel because the push-outs are difficult to manage on a regular basis.  But if you’re looking to get more out of an 8 wide then this tiny home is the way to go.
