Welcome to RPCManufacturer of Finely Crafted Park Model RVs
Rich and his crew enjoy building the best portable cabins money can buy. If you want a portable log cabin built to last, look no further. Co-design your cabin on wheels or choose from the floor plans that are spacious yet efficient. All park models are built to exceed the national standards and can ship all over the US. When you purchase your park model from RPC, you’ll get the customer service only a small company will provide. Call Rich at 541-898-2444. If the message machine picks up, leave a message and he'll call you right back.
Our Cabins Are Unique
A park model built by Rich and his crew are each one unique due to the endless variations that are possible when combining features from various designs and customer requests.
RPC's approach to cabin building is unlike the "high production cookie cutter companies" that offer quantity by sacrificing quality. We are the opposite in that quality is more important than the number of park models put out in a year. These miniature cabins are not on an assembly line moving along at a prescribed rate with a "ready or not here I come!" forcefulness which causes people to rush through their job thereby forsaking quality, but instead the cabins are stationary until done- how ever long the process of building the park model cabin takes is what it takes. The only down side to this approach is the inability to accurately predict labor costs. This is the reason I use skilled labor and pay them a family wage with benefits.
RPC is a true grass roots company because it was born from "one cabin built on a recycled mobile home frame" to "Hmmm... that worked so well let's try another cabin" to "OK, let's officially start a cabin building business". Rich went from building 3 portable cabins the first year to a current production of around 20 per year, further exemplifying quality rather than quantity. RPC is not interested in becoming a large high production park model manufacturer because of the inevitable separation that will occur between Rich and the cabins he builds, if the number of employees exceeds the "magic number" it will be difficult for Rich to maintain the hands on connection with each cabin. RPC's crew enjoys the process of building his portable log cabins, and takes satisfaction in doing the various tasks "always closer to perfection" and at the same time allowing for innovation.
For Rich and Lori Daniels - owners and founders of RPC - it's about quality of life and not how big the company can grow in the shortest amount of time. "Good things come to those who wait and stand in the way of opportunity, so that even if you don't have good peripheral vision, you can't help but to be the recipient of good fortune when it mows you over"
