Loft Models
Presented here on this page are the loft models. As you can see, there are almost endless possibilities to suit you tastes. Quite often, people come up with their own variation to a plan, but maybe one of these floor plans is just what you want.
Lofts will either have 54" or 60" depending on the length of the loft. 5' is the maximum headroom a loft can have before the portion over 5' will be counted as square footage. The stand-up loft is exceptional in that it has 6'4" of head room down the center portion of the loft, with platforms on either side for bedding or what have you.
Another great feature of many of these loft models is the generous use of windows in the living room, allowing for great views and lots of light. The stairs are built to standards ensuring that they are roomy and easy to climb, with good hand rails and fall protection. At the end of the loft over looking the living room and kitchen I typically use natural pine poles. Sanded smooth with multiple coats of lacquer, they are available until supplies run out.
